Thurgau Institute of Economics (TWI)

The Thurgau Institute of Economics is associated with the University of Konstanz. It is a cross-border centre for experimental research in economics. The objective of the research is to contribute to the understanding of individual behaviour in economic contexts. Experiments help to investigate behaviour in different economic situations, e.g. market exchange, human cooperation or behaviour in risky environments. The TWI supports the Graduate School by providing infrastructure and organisational input for teaching and research, by promoting contacts to respected academics worldwide and by functioning as an axis between graduate schools in the cross-border Lake Constance region.
